The SOR N6 nuclear qualified pressure switch is known for its high quality and reliability at a low cost. It features a powder-coated carbon steel housing with a stainless steel cover and is ideal for harsh environment HELB applications. Designed for use outside containment, the popular N6 has a flat cover secured with captive screws and integral mounting lugs for panel mounting.

The SOR RT nuclear qualified pressure switch model is designed for use outside the containment area. The housing is larger than the N6 model, allowing for a terminal block to be included if needed. The RT is constructed of stainless steel and features integral lugs for mounting in a panel.

Built specific to LOCA requirements, it is qualified by a combination of testing and analysis that includes thermal aging, irradiation, mechanical/electrical cycling and random multi-frequency.
